Blooms quickly and displays rich color well into late summer.
The true workhorse of our test gardens last summer, this Salvia farinacea continues to impress no matter the conditions. Full, branching plants come into bloom quickly and display rich color well into late summer. The large 3-4″ flower spikes are awash in rich deep blue, cooling sky blue and crisp, clean white. We planted several containers of them for display around the patio and a bed of the Deep Blue in the garden bed to attract the butterflies and hummingbirds. It worked like a charm.
